The problem
Ableton projects pile up in a folder, and it's hard to see which ones are close to done. Crate turns the folder into one board so you finish more tracks.
The solution
Point Crate at your projects folder. It reads every .als, sorts each project into a phase, and gives you the checklist for that phase. Runs in the browser. Free plan and a paid Studio plan.
Build story
I built it solo in Lovable. First working build in March 2026, billing moved to Paddle in May, launched in July. Since launch: bounces sync to your phone, assistants can connect to Crate, and pipelines replaced board layouts.
